61ST INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL AT THE VENICE BIENNALE

“Effetto notte” (‘Night Effect’) is the title of the spectacular architectural multivision that illuminated the façade of the Venice Lido casino every evening of the last edition of the 61st Film Biennial
A multivision presentation on Film and on the Film Dream with images processed with graphic effects which lead the spectator on a journey into the imagination, and then through the legends of Film, right up to the present with today’s images.

Multivision is a hybrid language born of cinema and photography created by Paolo Buroni, who has opened new horizons for Architectural Multivision with a highly personal style - unique in the international panorama - which takes this art form into the largest, and least expected spaces.

The location:
The magnificent “Piazza del Casinò del Lido” in front of the “Palazzo del Cinema” serves as the backdrop for the series of images projected onto the façade of the Casino and the Cinema building, accompanied by soundtracks from famous movies.

The installation numbers:
This Multivision was made possible through the use of the innovative Stark Projection system composed of 20 special professional Stark 1200 high luminosity projectors with computer interface.
A computerised production which generates quadraphonic digital audio and pilots all of the projectors in synchrony; frame selection and image fading. are controlled by software specially created for this event.

70° Anniversary of his foundation

CSC celebrated its 70th Anniversary on April 13, 2005 in Rome, with projections of images on the façade of the building, in the courtyards and in the walkways.
Teachers, pupils, former students, actors, directors and important figures in the film sector were present for the occasion.

the International Film Festival was inaugurated in Dubai with 16 Starks projecting images on a single theme onto the exterior of a desert fort.
