The Castle of Montefiore

Following years of anticipation and meticulous restoration work that restored Montefiore Castle in Recanati to the local community—a majestic 13th-century fortress overlooking the Potenza valley—Stark marked the grand opening with an extraordinary monumental videomapping installation. In an atmosphere suspended in time, amid the sound of clarions and the ribbon-cutting ceremony that sealed the rebirth of this historic landmark, the castle’s high central tower was transformed into a living digital canvas, powered by the company’s advanced visual technologies.

With this project, Stark created a powerful, emotionally charged spectacle bridging 13th-century fortified architecture and technology, demonstrating how high-precision, ultra-high-brightness projection systems combined with creative direction can make monuments speak, enhancing historical heritage with an unforgettable visual impact.
