The club A.C. Milan to celebrate its brilliant Uefa Cup victory decided to focus on spectacularity and image and entrusted Paolo Buroni with the direction and organisation of a big party-event at San Siro.
For the set design, a large ‘magic box’ was set up in the centre of the pitch with a 1000 square metre screen on which two 360° multivisions were projected for the entire audience to see.
The first multivision ‘Milan on top of the Olympus‘ told the story of Milan’s seven cups, while the second multivision was a celebration of the last cup with images from Athens 2007.
The event drew over 50,000 fans to San Siro and was broadcast live on Sky Sport.
