Christmas in Recanati

Recanati celebrated Christmas with an artistic projection on the ancient Torre del Borgo, telling a dynamic story about the three great figures of the city: Giacomo Leopardi, Beniamino Gigli, and Lorenzo Lotto.

Snowfall, light effects interacting with the architecture, and glimmering images of the Madonna dell’Annunciazione by Lorenzo Lotto and Giacomo Leopardi alternated with the words of L’infinito and the musical notes of Beniamino Gigli’s score.
