National Archaeological Museum of Altamura

The National Archaeological Museum of Altamura was created with the aim of uniting the numerous archaeological discoveries from the entire Alta Murgia region, spanning from prehistory to the medieval period.

For the museum’s exhibition, Stark installed a 55″ interactive totem, also developing its graphic and software components. In addition to the totem, Stark created an immersive room where visitors, upon entering, find themselves surrounded by a replica of the cave that hosts the “Man of Altamura.” Alongside these installations, Stark produced a documentary on the “Man of Altamura” and the Murgia region, featuring Professor and science communicator Mario Tozzi.
