Over 30,000 square metres of roofs, equivalent to 4 football pitches, are involved in the videomapping project entitled ‘L’AST CHRISTMAS PERUGIA’.
A giant luminous tree, which is formed of an artistic elaboration of images from Gerardo Dottori’s paintings of various cycles.
An occasion to pay homage to the painter, who at the turn of 1924-1925 proposed to erect “a lighthouse in a dominant point of the city”, later the protagonist of his painting Sun on the Towers.
From the top of Porta Sole, the highest point in the historic centre of Perugia, the large tree was observed in its entirety.
