The project is the result of a study by architect Massimo Paperini who, after a thorough and careful architectural analysis of the building and the original documents, proposed a virtual reconstruction of the quadriga.
In Libera‘s original drawings, in fact, the construction of a quadriga on the exterior elevation was planned, but never realised.
The project was therefore based on Architect Paperini‘s studies and original documents. After a graphic reworking of the documents, a double architectural projection was created with a dual function: historical and decorative.
In this case, it was decided to create the quadriga on the sides of the base, rather than on the base itself.
