On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna (GTV) presented one of the most fascinating and conceptual highlights of the event, choosing the prestigious Salone d’Onore at the Triennale di Milano as its stage.

The installation, titled “Continuum | From Archive to Living Art,” stems from an unprecedented and evocative collaboration with internationally renowned digital artist Quayola, with the exhibition concept designed by the Spalvieri & Del Ciotto studio. Alongside the creative partners, Stark actively collaborated in the realization of the project, translating the artistic vision into an immersive experience.

The core of the installation is the reinterpretation of the brand’s historic pieces—a cultural project that enhances the historical archive as an active tool for research and design.

Visitors do not merely look at the static design of a chair; instead, they witness the genesis of form, where the computational precision of modern software meets the flawless aesthetic of manual wood bending. It is a hypnotic installation that blends the warmth of organic matter with the fluidity of the digital world.
