Dawn is the threshold where the world is no longer immersed in night and not yet clear like day: a state of suspension where intuitions take shape. Inspiring itself by this imagery from Italo Calvino, Stark returned to Castello Sforzesco for Fuorisalone 2026 with ALBORI, an installation that interprets and stages the creative process as a true physical and sensory journey.
In the Sala dei Pilastri (Hall of Pillars), the audience experienced a dynamic structured into three moments: listening, an immersive soundscape that invites perception of the context; intuition, a cathartic moment and central core, where space condenses into a single point, revealing the vibrant and generative birth of the idea; and finally, composition, where physical materials and digital scenographies engage in dialogue on a large collaborative table, transforming collective thought and action into tangible form.
The sounds inhabit the space like a living presence: a musical fabric that transforms alongside the journey, moving from the suspension of the opening moments to the intense concentration of intuition, and ultimately interpreting the collective and interactive gesture of composition.
